Spurwink Board of Director’s 2022 Team Recognition Award

We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2022 Spurwink Board of Director’s Team Recognition Award! The Brook Street Child Residential Team was chosen as the outstanding team this year, worthy of this recognition. While a number of superb teams were nominated by their peers, the Brook Street Child Residential Team stood out this year in particular.

To be nominated, a team has demonstrated exceptional performance over the last year in one or more of the following dimensions:

  • Innovative service and/or outcome;
  • Outstanding teamwork and collaboration;
  • Value added service;
  • Exemplary leadership, e.g., endurance, tenacity, visionary;
  • Created a positive, observable difference; and/or
  • Enhanced strategic and operational objectives.

The Brook Street Child Residential team provides critical care, support and treatment to children with severe intellectual disabilities and autism.

This team represents the best of Spurwink. They meet youth needs and provide a caring, accepting and understanding environment highlighted by a desire to be professional no matter how difficult the situation. They have a strong work ethic and high standards for the care they provide. The leadership team is always there to teach, assist, collaborate and listen. The group is united to make this program something to be proud of.
