Spurwink’s Living Room Crisis Center will be moving from 62 Elm St to 895 Washington Ave, Portland, on Monday, July 27.
901 Washington Ave to 895 Washington Ave, Portland
Spurwink outpatient services at 901 Washington Ave will be moving to 895 Washington Ave, Portland, on Thursday, July 23.
901 Washington Ave to 6 Ashley Drive, Scarborough
Spurwink’s administrative offices currently located at 901 Washington Ave will be moving to 6 Ashley Drive, Scarborough, on Friday, July 24.
Why is Spurwink moving?
These moves are part of a strategic initiative to unify all outpatient services under one roof. It reflects our commitment to a streamlined, integrated, and “no wrong door” approach to care, ensuring individuals and families can access the support they need in a more coordinated and accessible environment. The new site at 895 Washington Ave, Portland, will feature improved parking, enhanced accessibility, and a welcoming space, purpose-designed to better serve our clients and staff.
Will services change?
Spurwink is implementing a robust continuity of care plan. We are working closely with clients and partners to address transportation, scheduling, and any other concerns that may arise during the move, ensuring uninterrupted access to care.
How will clients get to the new location?
The new 895 Washington Avenue location is located on a Greater Portland Metro bus route. Spurwink is also coordinating with the City of Portland regarding additional transportation supports and is working closely with community partners to help ensure that services remain accessible for those who may need assistance getting to appointments.
Will transportation be available for people who use the Living Room Crisis Center?
Spurwink is working with community partners and local transportation resources to help reduce barriers to access. Hospitals, law enforcement, and other referral partners will continue to transport individuals to crisis services when appropriate.
