Kelly Kierstead, Administrator of Old Lisbon Road ICF (Intermediate Care Facility) was nominated and voted on to the Board of Directors for MACSP, the Maine Association for Community Service Providers. As a MACSP board member Kelly will be involved with discussions about many service area topics for MACSP members. In addition, Kelly will be the Chairperson for the ICF (Intermediate Care Facility) committee, who meet monthly to discuss matters related to both nursing and group home intermediate care facilities. These facilities provide care and support for Maine’s individuals with intellectual disabilities who have significant medical and/or behavioral support needs. Kelly began her career in a direct care role at Spurwink’s Old Lisbon Road, a 12 bed ICF Nursing home many years ago, and for the past 3 years has served as the nursing home’s Administrator.
