It’s All About the People: Meet Rita LaBarbera, Cornville Program Director

Rita Alfonso LaBarbera, LCSW, CSP, MFA/W, joined Spurwink in 2017 as Program Director on our Cornville campus.   We appreciate all of the skills and experience that Rita brings to her role leading our Cornville education and residential teams, who serve youth ages 11-18 in the greater Skowhegan area.

 

When I’m not working at Spurwink, I’m: gardening, swimming, drawing/water-coloring, reading, writing short stories, hanging with friends and family

Spurwink program that I connect with most deeply:  Cornville

Why behavioral health matters to me:  helping others move to a place of joy; life is a challenge but it is also beautiful

My favorite way to destress: writing, meditating, walking
