Corporate Partner Spotlight: Martin’s Point Health Care

By September 24, 2021Blog

Building and maintaining healthy communities in Maine is at the heart of Martin’s Point Health Care and Spurwink’s long-term corporate partnership. For Martin’s Point Health Care, community service and volunteerism run deep and was crucial in how they continued to partner and serve our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. They doubled down on their commitment to care for the well-being of our community-partnering with nonprofits to support the physical and mental health of those who need it most. Employees work long hours on the front line of the pandemic. When the vaccine rolled out, employees from across the organization came together to help our community get vaccinated.

“At Martin’s Point, it’s our mission to create a healthier community, and we do that best when we collaborate with local organizations like Spurwink,” said David Howes, MD President and CEO of Martin’s Point Health Care. “Their expertise in behavioral health and disabilities services complements those we deliver at our health care centers and provides a critical resource for our patients in need. We look forward to continuing our longstanding partnership as we work together to promote the health of Maine families.”

We are thankful for Martin’s Point Health Care’s commitment and support to helping Mainers lead healthy and engaging lives in our community.
