We are pleased to announce the winner of the Spurwink Board of Director’s Team Recognition Award! The Adult IDD Services, Old Lisbon Road (OLR) Nursing Facility Senior Managers Team was chosen as the outstanding team this year, worthy of this recognition. While a number of superb teams were nominated by their peers the OLR Managers team stood out this year in particular.
To be nominated, a team has to have demonstrated exceptional performance over the last year in one or more of the following dimensions:
- Innovative service and/or outcome;
- Outstanding teamwork and collaboration;
- Value added service;
- Exemplary leadership, e.g., endurance, tenacity, visionary;
- Created a positive, observable difference; and/or
- Enhanced strategic and operational objectives.
We received not one but two nominations for the IT team to recognize their exceptional work this year.

Old Lisbon Road’s Senior Managers (OLR) members include: Kelly Kierstead, Ashley LaChance, Destiny Lizotte, Trista Conners, Sue Cote
This team shows an impressive ability to openly communicate, pool resources, distribute the workload & develop a synergy to produce clear visions. OLR had a COVID outbreak where 11 or the 12 clients tested positive. In one day, this group rearranged rooms & changed the physical plan to meet the needs of the outbreak & maximize staffing. This team works together to assure the best outcomes for 12 of the most fragile individuals we serve.
