Meet Michelle Libby, Development Committee Member

By June 24, 2019Blog

Michelle Libby—pictured in the center, in pink, with the Century 21 team at 2019 Brews & Backpacks—is a Development Committee member and volunteer, who was inspired by the “significant, collaborative, and graceful work Spurwink employees and volunteers do” during the 2018 Humanitarian Awards Gala. When she’s not busy volunteering her time, she can be found helping people find their perfect homes at Century 21 North East.

When I’m not volunteering/working at Spurwink, I’m:  With my daughters playing or dancing, and working as a full-time Realtor with Century 21 North East.

Spurwink program or intent that I connect with most deeply:  Spurwink Center for Safe and Healthy Families

Why behavioral health matters to me: Physical health and mental health are equally important – I hope to help spread awareness that mental health help is available for everyone.

My favorite way to de-stress: Seaglass hunting! Turquoise is my favorite find.

Words to live by: What our children see in the world depends on what we show them.

Most interesting thing I’ve read recently: 50 Mainers Leading By Example in Maine Mag

The music I jam to alone in the car is:  Zac Brown Band- acoustic versions

Favorite ice cream: French Vanilla

Recent Netflix obsession: Stranger Things

Sweet or salty?:  Both – they are best if combined!

Mountains or beach? Beach. A seaglass beach of course!
