Thank you to all who were a part of Spurwink’s Humanitarian Awards! Almost 400 attendees enjoyed an impactful evening as we honored this year’s incredible honorees: Westbrook Police Chief Janine Robert and The Boulos Company/Boulos Asset Management.
Gala co-chairs Melissa Coulombe and Michelle Libby led a meaningful program that exemplified Spurwink’s mission and highlighted three areas of our work: Opioid Treatment and Recovery, Foster Care, and Anti-Human Trafficking. Sponsored by The Boulos Company/Boulos Asset Management, the silent and live auction, along with the paddle raise – led by Tom Saturley of Tranzon, LLC – brought in over $40,000. We were excited to screen the I Am Spurwink video, which kicked off Spurwink’s upcoming 60th anniversary, and heard from Rachel Flehinger who shared her experience as a parent participating in Spurwink’s Functional Family Therapy for her step-son.

Our appreciation to our lead Sponsor Sun Life and for the community’s support; championing of our biggest event of the year and for giving Spurwink the chance to shine light on our work. We look forward to seeing you at the next Humanitarian!
