This month we are celebrating our Corporate Partner, Sun Life, who has been a committed donor supporting Spurwink for over 20 years. They have funded a variety of initiatives over the years, including the organic garden at our Chelsea school, the Southern Maine Autism Conference, and Outpatient Client Services. Sun Life has also engaged with Spurwink’s vocational programs, hosting participants at the Sun Life Center for Healthy Work in Scarborough. They have been the lead sponsor of the Humanitarian Awards Gala since 2015, and in 2018 received the Corporate Care Award. Sun Life’s charitable giving efforts have been championed by Sun Life President (US) Dan Fishbein, M.D., who has served on Spurwink’s board since the 90s, including several years as the Chair.
