We are pleased to announce the winner of the Spurwink Board of Director’s Team Recognition Award! The Information Technology (IT) team was chosen as the outstanding team this year, worthy of this recognition. While a number of superb teams were nominated by their peers, the IT team stood out this year in particular.
To be nominated, a team has to have demonstrated exceptional performance over the last year in one or more of the following dimensions:
- Innovative service and/or outcome;
- Outstanding teamwork and collaboration;
- Value added service;
- Exemplary leadership, e.g., endurance, tenacity, visionary;
- Created a positive, observable difference; and/or
- Enhanced strategic and operational objectives.
We received not one but two nominations for the IT team to recognize their exceptional work this year.

“They have had not one, but TWO major challenges this year that they did an amazing job working together on. The work they did impacted each and every one of our staff, clients and even the outside community. They had to act quick and I think they exceeded everyone’s expectations throughout the Spurwink community. They did remarkable work in a short period of time and their hard work deserves to be recognized. They had a big year this year!”
