School Supply Drive 2026

Students and families served by Spurwink across Maine need your help to get ready for the 2026-27 school year!

We are now accepting donations of school supplies.  There is also an exceptional need for backpacks. We aim to provide 600 backpacks and the supplies to fill them by July 31. See below for a full list of supplies needed.

There are three ways to participate:

  1. Donate online
  2. Purchase and drop off gift cards (which allow kids and family the opportunity to experience “back to school shopping!”)
  3. Purchase and drop off school supplies (Thanks to Maine Community Bank for serving as a drop-off location!)
Your contribution of any size before July 31, 2026, ensures that children served by Spurwink are prepared for the new school year. Learn more about how your donation can impact a child in need.
