Each year, three award winners are selected by Spurwink coworkers for their exceptional personal initiative, enthusiasm, dedication, generosity of spirit, and commitment to collaboration. The Rosser Award was established in honor of the work and leadership of Dr. John “Jack” Rosser, who joined Spurwink in 1979 and served as Executive Director from 1983-1994.

Spurwink awarded the 2015 Rosser Award to the following employees: Debra Bunce, PhD, Director of Clinical Supervision, Nathanna McGivney, LCSW, Regional Director Cumberland County Outpatient and Community Services, and Charles Pray, a Special Education Teacher at the Lewiston Auburn Day Treatment School.
