LEWISTON, Maine — One of Maine’s largest mental health providers is bringing back a traveling silent memorial that humanizes the lives lost to substance use disorders.
The Black Poster Project aims to de-stigmatize opioid use disorder by sharing the names, faces, and stories of people who have died from overdoses. The nonprofit travels state to state to spread awareness that substance use disorder is a brain disease.
