This past August, volunteers from our Corporate Partners at USI and Gorham Savings Bank picked up paint and brushes to brighten up our Glickman Academy classrooms! Schoolteachers had students pick out the new paint colors, and during summer vacation, the volunteers transformed the classrooms. Volunteering at Glickman has been a long-standing tradition for USI, whose veteran volunteer team shows up each August! We were also excited to welcome Gorham Savings Bank’s commercial lending team, who brightened up the staff conference room with their painting skills! Community involvement not only helps us achieve our mission but shows our students they are seen and appreciated by their local community.
