Corporate Partner Highlight: Foreside

By May 25, 2021Blog

Supporting youth in the local community is a charitable focus for Foreside’s employees. Foreside provides customized compliance and technology solutions to the investment management industry. Headquartered in Portland, ME they have offices in 7 U.S. locations. Spurwink and Foreside embrace key values of partnership, person-centered, and commitment. Foreside recognizes that listening to clients and understanding their client’s needs is crucial for success, “from listening to the types of services that our clients need to the exploration and design of solutions, and the resulting delivery and follow up.” They recognize that personal interaction and connection are essential to a successful relationship, both externally and internally.

“The pandemic has underscored the importance of human interaction, and has highlighted the need to listen and be aware of how others are doing.” Foreside understands that as an employer they play an important role in behavioral health in the workforce. They have found ways to build a connection with their employees while working from home with weekly connection topics and encouraging employees to reach out and take advantage of their Employee Assistance Program as needed when feeling overwhelmed. “We remind them (staff) that we are in this together and to check on each other”.

Foreside has been generously supporting Spurwink for over seven years. As evident in their external and internal best practices, caring and person-centered service is a priority not only in their giving but in how they do business. “It’s the sincerity and passion for what we do, and recognizing that while lots of companies can provide our services, it’s our people that make the difference in their relationship with the client.”

“At Foreside, the dedication and commitment to our clients carry over into our service to the community. Spurwink’s broad array of valuable behavioral health services and the compassion given by staff make it a natural partner for Foreside’s community endeavors.” -Rich Berthy, CEO

Foreside employees have volunteered their time and talent to the Spurwink Board and Development Committee. Spurwink is thankful for Foreside’s corporate partnership.
