“Adopt” a family or individual for the holidays!

By November 23, 2020Blog

The holidays are fast approaching and we are looking for individuals to adopt a child or family served by Spurwink who could use some extra holiday cheer. Your involvement not only brings joy to a child, but helps ease the burden of a parent or caregiver who wants nothing more but to make the holidays a little more bright for a loved one. For more information or to adopt a child or family please contact Emily Silevinac at esilevinac@spurwink.org or (207) 712-9863.

Logistics:

  • Unwrapped gifts need to be dropped off  to Spurwink’s administration building in Portland by 5pm on Monday, December 14th.
  • Please drop them gift at our administrative office in Portland: 901 Washington Avenue, Suite 100 Portland, ME 04103.  Our office is open M-F between 9 am and 5 pm.  Please note our admin office will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, 11/26 and Friday 11/27.
  • We ask that you label the bag/box that gifts are dropped off in with your name so we can identify which child/family the gifts are intended for.
  • Please do not wrap the gifts, but you can provide wrapping if you choose-but is not necessary.

Thank you for considering making the holidays a little brighter this year for an individual or family being served by Spurwink.
