PORTLAND, ME – Spurwink, a leading provider of behavioral health and educational services in Maine, will relocate several Portland-based programs and administrative offices in July 2026 as part of a strategic effort to enhance access to care and streamline services.
Spurwink’s outpatient behavioral health services currently located at 901 Washington Avenue will move to 895 Washington Avenue, Portland, on Thursday, July 23, 2026. In addition, the Living Room Crisis Center and other services located at 62 Elm Street will relocate to the same 895 Washington Avenue site on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Administrative offices currently based at 901 Washington Avenue will transition to a new location at 6 Ashley Drive in Scarborough.
“These moves reflect our commitment to improving how people access behavioral health services,” said Eric Meyer, President & CEO of Spurwink. “By bringing outpatient services together under one roof, we are strengthening our ability to provide coordinated, person-centered care.”
The relocation of outpatient services to 895 Washington Avenue supports Spurwink’s “no wrong door” approach to care—ensuring that individuals and families can connect with the services they need in a more integrated and accessible environment. The new site offers improved parking, enhanced accessibility, and a welcoming space designed to better serve both clients and staff.
Spurwink is implementing a comprehensive continuity-of-care plan to ensure that services remain uninterrupted during the transition. Staff are working closely with clients, families, and community partners to address scheduling, transportation, and other needs throughout the move.
Clients receiving services will be notified directly by their care teams, and signage and informational materials will be available at current locations to support a smooth transition.
