In early December, Eric Meyer, Spurwink’s President & CEO, invited community leaders and supporters to our annual President’s Leadership Lunch. This event is an opportunity to engage donors by highlighting an area of donor impact as well as show our appreciation for our supporters.
This year’s lunch was held at Spurwink’s Adult Behavioral Health (SABH) location in the Bayside neighborhood and featured SABH’s Opioid Health Home. Eric Meyer moderated a panel discussion featuring Ben Strick, Director of Spurwink’s Adult Behavioral Health Services; Angela Blier, Program Supervisor, Adult Behavioral Health Home and Opioid Health Home, SAHB; Ryan Beckford, SABH Recovery Coach (Specialist); and Sara Fleurant, Director of Oxford Street Shelter. The discussion created tangible images for attendees on the value and impact of Spurwink’s Opioid Health Home, and highlighted how we work with community partners to achieve the best possible care, with respect at the forefront, for our neighbors.
