SUPPORT SPURINK & THE COMMUNITY

Making an impact has never been easier
For 60 years, Spurwink has been changing lives and making Maine a healthier place to live and work. There are many ways to be a partner in this work. Financial support is one way to make a difference. New this year is our ability to accepts gifts from donor-advised funds, which combine tax benefits with the flexibility to support a favorite non-profit like Spurwink.
DONOR HIGHLIGHTS

Donor Spotlight: The Boyd Family
We love highlighting donors, and donors with a special connection to Spurwink make the sentiment that much more meaningful. The Boyd family graciously gave a donation on Giving Tuesday to honor the work of Spurwink staff who have made a significant impact to their family and their child, who is a Spurwink client.

Quilting group creates hand-crafted quilts for children
A local women’s quilting group recently donated 14 handmade quilts for children in our residential program. Each quilt will be given to a child, and will be something that they take with them when they leave Spurwink and have for a lifetime.

'Tis the season for holiday cheer
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, volunteers, staff, and community members, many of our families and clients in need will be supported during the holiday season. Read about ways in which the community has come together to share in the kindness of helping others.

President's Leadership Lunch provides insight and appreciation
In early December, Eric Meyer, Spurwink's President & CEO, invited community leaders and supporters to our annual President's Leadership Lunch. This event is an opportunity to engage donors by highlighting an area of donor impact as well as show our appreciation for our supporters. This time around we highlighted Spurwink Adult Behavioral Health's Opioid Health Home program.
