Another successful Special Olympics Track and Field season has come to a close for Spurwink’s Day Treatment programs. This year, 21 athletes participated in Special Olympics regional spring games across three counties and 13 of our athletes went to Orono State summer games on Saturday June 8th. At the state games, our athletes brought home four first place medals, nine second place medals, and seven third place medals. A warm thank you to the staff volunteers and families who supported them.
