Backpacks, pencils, and paints, oh my!
The 2021 School Supply Drive was a huge success! Thanks to all of those who have donated, hundreds of items are being disbursed to Spurwink schools throughout the state! A special thank you to our community partners for organizing workplace and residential drives, including The Boulos Company, Boulos Asset Management, WEX, FedEx, Maine Medical Partners, Ruth’s Reusable Resources, Woodfords Congregational Church, and the Woods at Canco Retirement Community.
In August, the Woods at Canco staff organized a fun Back to School Day where Spurwink staff joined residents in playing “back to school” trivia! Residents and staff at The Woods at Canco retirement community collected donations for Spurwink’s 2021 School Supply Drive and wrote personalized notes of encouragement for students. Thank you to everyone who donated for helping students and families served by Spurwink to be prepared and school ready!
