Rebecca Badeau, LCPC
I believe one of the most powerful things we can offer another person is the feeling of being understood and valued. Throughout my extensive work with children, adolescents, and families, I have found that feeling safe and accepted can create the space needed for meaningful growth and change.
My approach is strengths-based. I believe there is strength and potential in every person, even during times when it may be difficult to see. Together, we can explore concerns, build on existing strengths, develop resilience, and discover solutions that feel right for the client.
Empathy is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients can be themselves without judgment. I especially enjoy partnering with parents and caregivers, recognizing that supporting a child or adolescent is often a journey the whole family takes together.
I have been trained in using CBT, TF-CBT and Polyvagal Theory, tailoring my approach to the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each person and family.
