Keera Allen, LCSW

Hi there! My name is Keera Allen, and I hold a clinical social work license (LCSW) in the State of Maine. I have worked in the field for the past 15 years in various capacities. The majority of my experience is with children and families. I also have experience facilitating parenting workshops and classes. Since pursuing my graduate degree and clinical licensure, I have had the opportunity to work within school systems and non-profit agencies. Recently expanded to private practice, Resilient Roots of Maine is located in Augusta.

Resilient Roots of Maine specializes in providing mental health support for children (ages 4-10) and parents/caregivers. We strive to provide an authentic, safe, and trusting environment. The therapeutic approach is a combination of trauma-responsive, attachment-based interventions (including but not limited to) play therapy, sand-tray therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and narrative therapy.
