Keera Allen, LCSW
Hi there! My name is Keera Allen, and I hold a clinical social work license (LCSW) in the State of Maine. The majority of my social work experience is with children and families over the past 15 years in various capacities. I have had the opportunity to facilitate parenting groups/workshops as well as work within school systems and non-profit agencies. Recently expanding to private practice. I am proud and grateful to have deep roots in Maine and believe resilience is a beautiful part of being human leading to the symbolic name of my practice: Resilient Roots of Maine.
Resilient Roots of Maine specializes in providing mental health support for children (ages 4-10) and consultation with parents/caregivers. Striving to provide an authentic, safe, and trusting environment. The therapeutic approach is a combination of trauma-responsive, attachment-based interventions (including but not limited to) play-based techniques, sand-tray therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and narrative therapy.
