Graduation went a little differently this year for 2020 graduates of Glickman Academy and Chelsea. Given the challenges of COVID-19 and gathering, Glickman held their graduation ceremony in Spurwink’s main admin building’s parking lot, and Chelsea held individual graduation ceremonies.
Pictured below is the Glickman graduation. Traditionally, Glickman graduations have always been held at Spurwink’s main administration building in Portland, and is something that Glickman students and staff look forward to. In keeping with tradition and formality, it was decided to hold this special event there, with keeping students, families, and staff’s safety at the forefront. Families largely stayed in cars in the parking lot and had a car parade to celebrate.
Congrats 2020 graduates! This will be a year to remember.
