The Rosen Family

At Spurwink, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live engaged, healthy, and connected lives in their communities. The Rosen family has embodied that value while honoring their family member, Marcia Rosen, by establishing the Marcia Rosen Dreams and Needs Fund.  This fund enables Spurwink staff to work with residents to help fulfill their dreams and needs.

The Rosen family established the Marcia Rosen Dreams and Needs Fund in loving memory of their sister and aunt, Marcia Rosen, who was a past resident of one of Spurwink’s adult residential programs.

Many individuals in Spurwink’s adult residential programs have limited financial resources, often struggling to meet essential needs such as clothing. Beyond these basics, personal goals and dreams—such as enjoying a hobby, taking a day trip, or attending a concert—can feel out of reach. The Marcia Rosen Dreams and Needs Fund bridges that gap, providing financial support for both necessities and meaningful experiences.

Grants from the fund may cover:

  • Essential items: clothing, household goods, or hobby supplies.
  • Dreams and experiences: a memorable day trip, a weekend getaway, or tickets to a theater performance or concert.

Through this fund, the Rosen family is helping create moments of dignity, joy, and connection—honoring Marcia’s legacy in the most heartfelt way.

Thank you to the Rosen family for making dreams possible.
