Lisa Dezso, LCSW, LADC, CCS.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who enjoys working with clients of all walks of life. I began my clinical career at local community mental health organizations where I found a particular passion in working with teens, adults, and members of the LGBT+ community. I have since branched into a small private practice in Pittsfield ME, to better serve the community that I call home.
I believe in a holistic, trauma informed, and culturally competent, approach to therapy that encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being that allow clients to be the expert of themselves and to move forward in their lives. My methods used include: narrative and creative writing, art, music, as well as traditional talk therapy that allow for clients to develop solutions-focused ideas to help them meet their self-directed goals.
