Kelsey Hayes, LCSW

While my practice is currently focused around end of life issues, I always hold several slots in my caseload for those struggling with PTSD/issues surrounding trauma, depression, anxiety & substance use disorders.

Facing a serious or life-threatening illness changes everything; your sense of self, your relationships, and the way you move through the world. When life becomes medically complex and emotionally overwhelming, you deserve a space where you’re allowed to be messy. In our work together, every part of you is welcome: the fear, the grief, the rage, the hope, and the moments of beautifully unexpected laughter. I support individuals, couples, and families navigating complex medical situations and the ripple effects these experiences have on relationships.
Whether you’re weighing treatment options, adjusting to new roles, preparing for loss, or trying to communicate when everything feels fragile; we make room for
clarity, connection, and care – ensuring that your quality of life is always at the forefront. When faced with death or the possibility of it, your entire life tends to rise to the surface—old wounds, unfinished conversations, values, regrets, and love. To not tend to these parts of you would be a disservice.
I am able to hold space for these multifaceted, often tender conversations with depth, steadiness, and respect. My style is grounded, compassionate, and deeply human, with a belief that humor and joy can —and often do—coexist with suffering. I look forward to helping you cultivate pockets of meaning in our work together
