Greetings, and thank you for looking into my practice. I know it is often hard to decide to seek therapy and find a good match between client and provider. I feel that the foundation of therapeutic work is relationship and rapport. Establishing this allows for trust, honesty and growth. I truly believe that, no matter the circumstance, we are in it together. I have worked with youth, adolescents, adults and families. I feel that the foundation of therapeutic work is relationship and rapport. This is reflected in my primary practice of DBT. DBT helps find, and create, joy in our lives as they are, while, at the same time, building skills to make life the best we can. I am DBT-Linehan Board Certified. I am also trained, and have experience, in ARC, CBT and TF-CBT.
I have worked with a variety of clients with different needs in many different circumstances. There are painful events in everyone’s life that continue to effect us; we may not have caused these and, together, it is up to us to work to build the life we want.
