Bigelow Program Holds Open House
In July, we were happy to share our space at Bigelow, a new Adult Residential Treatment program, providing integrated residential treatment to adults 18+ with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The open house was well received and attended, with tours being offered by current residents and staff, plenty of questions answered, and information given to community partners.
GRANTS IN ACTION

Norway Savings Bank Supports Wellness at Bigelow
Spurwink recently opened its unique Bigelow Program, referenced in the article above, with a focus on supporting adults in their recovery so that they can successfully return to independent living in the community. Funding from Norway Savings Bank provides exercise equipment and wellness programming to manage and reduce symptoms.

CORPORATE PARTNER SPOTLIGHT

Welcoming Several New Corporate Partners
This year, Spurwink welcomed several new Corporate Partners, including Anania Bailey Advertising, HUB, and Gorham Savings Bank. Support from corporate partners make life-changing programming possible by covering startup costs and other needs for programs alongside state and insurance reimbursement, making programs sustainable long-term. They provide investments and create opportunities that allow Spurwink to meet critical behavioral health needs in our community.
