Thank you so much to our amazing staff for donating to our Thanksgiving food drive efforts. Food and cash donations were generously contributed by staff from across Spurwink. Because of their generosity, 42 meals are being provided to families that Spurwink serves across the state!
In addition to donations, many staff participate in this annual tradition by shopping, sorting, packaging, and delivering the baskets. Most baskets included all the Thanksgiving favorites including a turkey but also several staple items like cereal, pasta, oatmeal and soups.
Unique baskets were also created for New Mainer families that included preferred foods including rice, beans, fruit and other staples.
