When I’m not in private practice, I’m: Volunteering in community and political endeavors and spending time with friends.
Why behavioral health matters to me: Behavioral health matters to me because I have observed the ways in which people suffer from not feeling that they matter and not knowing how to identify and verbalize their feelings. In order to reconnect with their authentic selves they need to acknowledge the parts of themselves they may have long ignored.
My favorite way to de-stress: Taking a long walk with my dog, preferably on the beach.

Most interesting thing I’ve read recently: “Pachinko” is the most interesting book I’ve read recently as I knew little of the personal conflicts between Korean and Japanese people.
The music I jam to alone in the car is: The music I jam to in my car is most often music from the 70’s and 80’s…Beatles, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, Doors, Rolling Stones….
