Valued supporter since 2005, Spurwink is pleased to highlight Martin’s Point Health Care as a long-time Corporate Partner this month. Building and maintaining healthy communities in Maine is at the heart of both agency’s work, and community service and volunteerism runs deep at Martin’s Point Health Care.
“At Martin’s Point, it’s our mission to create a healthier community, and we do that best when we collaborate with local organizations like Spurwink,” said David Howes, MD President and CEO of Martin’s Point Health Care. “Their expertise in behavioral health and disabilities services complements those we deliver at our health care centers and provides a critical resource for our patients in need. We look forward to continuing our longstanding partnership as we work together to promote the health of Maine families.”
Martin’s Point has been involved with various events through the years including Spurwink’s annual Humanitarian Awards and Brews & Backpacks. Coming up in June will be Brews & Backpacks, in which backpacks are put together for children receiving services at Spurwink. The Spurwink Humanitarian Awards celebrates leaders in our community whose work exemplifies Spurwink’s mission and values and will take place in October.
We are thankful for Martin’s Point Health Care’s commitment and support to helping Mainers lead healthy and engaging lives, and we look forward to working together for many years to come!
