Spurwink’s ALLTECH program is a program that often flies under the radar, but is so important in connecting people to assistive technology that can help them through life’s tasks. It strives to to provide assessment, consultation, and training to assist individuals with disabilities through assistive technology to access learning, communication, and employment. ALLTECH provides face-to-face and virtual consultations, assessments, professional development, and technical assistance, and they have an equipment loaner program along with a recycle and reuse program funded by Maine CITE.
Assistive Technology Recycle & Reuse Program
ALLTECH accepts donations of durable medical equipment such as, walkers, canes, crutches, shower benches, wheelchairs, commodes and other adaptive equipment. ALLTECH sells durable medical equipment at greatly reduced prices and accepts donation of adaptive equipment. Equipment is also available for short term temporary loans.
Assistive Technology Loaner Program
Assistive Technology is available to borrow through ALLTECH’s Loaner Program, which is supported with federal funds through Maine CITE. An inventory of available Assistive Technology in Maine is available on the AT4Maine.org website.

- Hard of hearing assistive technology
