Ellisha E. Krutuleski, LCSW
I have been working in the social work field for 15 years. I enjoy working in challenging and rewarding environments where I can utilize my skills to enhance and enrich the lives of children, individuals, and families through my perseverance and dedication in this career field.
I have extensive experience working with adolescents and children in a variety of roles including School-Based Clinician, Residential Group Homes, and providing Multi-Systemic Therapy to at risk teens in their homes. I have taught Anger Management and Skills for Responsible Thinking groups to adolescents referred through The Department of Corrections or community resources.
I have experience triaging and working with people in crisis at varying stages. I worked in an 8-bed crisis stabilization unit providing bio-psychosocial assessments and plans for new clients to the program, ran therapeutic groups for clients, and did individual check-ins. I also was a contracted employee for a hospital in the emergency room where I provided psychiatric assessments for patients. I would then negotiate/advocate for the most appropriate, least restrictive services for the patient.
I use an individualized approach that is based in mindfulness and draws from cognitive-behavioral techniques, dialectical behavior therapy skills, trauma-focused cognitive- behavioral techniques, attachment regulation competency, motivational thinking, and structural family system concepts.
