LEARN ABOUT SPURWINK SERVICES

Governor Mills & Elected Officials Visit Chelsea Campus
Spurwink was delighted to welcome several elected officials including Governor Janet Mills and Senator Cathy Breen to our Chelsea campus on May 22. They met with Day Treatment and Residential staff and clients and toured our campus. They spoke of the urgent need for the services that Spurwink provides both throughout the state of Maine and in the local Chelsea area.

A Family for ME PSA Wins 2019 Broderson Award
Spurwink’s A Family for ME (AFfME) foster care recruitment campaign was awarded a Broderson Award in May, 2019. The Broderson’s are Maine’s premier advertising award, recognizing creative excellence in advertising, marketing, and design. The AFfME campaign, a partnership between Spurwink and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, received the Silver in the PSA category for advertising or marketing work created for the purpose of promoting a cause or public good. The project was lead by Garrand Moehlenkamp and a Spurwink project team.

2018 Spurwink Annual Report
We are delighted to share Spurwink’s 2018 Annual Report with Program Outcomes. This report is published in digital format as we consider its environmental impact and ease of sharing and access. We remain committed to increasing access to critical behavioral health services in Maine, and believe this is vital not only for people in need of service, but also for the businesses and communities across Maine that want to make our state a healthier place to live and work.
