Therapeutic Riding Program

The Spurwink Therapeutic Riding Program, located in North Yarmouth, Maine, is available to children and adults with a variety of physical, mental and emotional disabilities. Therapeutic Riding offers sensory and motor therapeutic benefits as well as an opportunity to enhance self-esteem and confidence in mastering a new skill. The program is staffed by volunteers and a full-time instructor who is certified in Therapeutic Riding Instruction by the Cheff Center for Handicapped Riding in Augusta, Michigan. The program is fully accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.
