Spurwink Outcome Studies Featured in Professional Publication
The Child and Youth Care Forum recently published a paper submitted by professionals from Spurwink Services. The paper, “Research Challenges: Implementing Standardized Outcome Measures in a Decentralized, Community-based, Residential Treatment Program,” was written by Linda Butler, Ph.D., LCSW, Director of Research, Liza Little, Psy.D., RNCS, Associate Director of Clinical Services and Andre Grimard, Research Assistant.
“As a large community-based provider of residential services, Spurwink has been committed to developing a research process that would inform our treatment practices,” said Butler. “Our current outcome studies are the result of using standardized measures on a variety of dimensions and also careful planning and collaboration between administrative and treatment staff.”
Child and Youth Care Forum is a multidisciplinary publication that highlights effective practices for children and families.
