Adult Services
Spurwink offers two programs for adults with intellectual disability, autism and developmental disabilities: Adult Residential Services and Adult Community Support Services. These two programs operate 15 residences and 4 community support sites in these southern Maine communities: Limerick, North Yarmouth, Portland, Steep Falls, West Buxton and Westbrook.
The Portland Help Center is an inner city mental health clinic serving adults with MaineCare who suffer from serious and persistent psychiatric disorders, mental retardation and autism spectrum disorders.
Spruce Point is Spurwink’s latest adult residential program for consumers with autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and other Developmental Disabilities. This program offers various residential options for families that include owning, renting, or leasing a home and choosing from a menu of services to meet the needs of their family member.
