The Game Loft announces the next season of the fall schedule. Running from, November 2 through December 31, this season includes an exciting array of games and activities.
Each week The Game Loft hosts games that youth age 18 and under can drop in and play. Pokemon Club and Young Gamers Club meet on Mondays, Yu-Gi-Oh League meets on Tuesdays, and Magic: The Gathering players meet on Wednesdays.
Enrolled games include Young D&D Chronicles (ages 8-12), Mondays, beginning November 2; Trailblazers: Forgotten Realms (ages 12-15), Tuesdays, beginning November 3; D&D: Shadow War (ages 12-18) continuing on November 3; Eureka-1968 Days of Rage (ages 15-18), Thursdays, beginning November 5; Days of Arthur: Boy King Chronicles (ages 14-18), Thursdays, beginning November 5; Trailblazers: Days of Arthur (ages 12-15), Thursdays, beginning November 5; Trailblazers: Board Games of Trade and Conquest (ages 12-18), Thursdays, beginning November 5; Holiday Cheer (offered through our partner Youthlinks) (ages 12-15), at Troy Howard Middle School, Thursdays, beginning November 5. Additionally, the Game Loft will host several special events this season: Flames of War - Monkey in the Middle (World War II tabletop miniatures game, open to the public, all ages welcome, no experience necessary) on Saturday, December 5 from noon - 5 pm; Role Play Prep Group (an introduction to character development and game design, especially suited for ages 10-14) on Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, December 29.
The Game Loft provides an environment where young people are guided to become caring, competent, confident, contributing and connected adults. The center is open Monday through Thursday from 2 - 6 pm and Friday from 2 - 8:30. All programs are free and open for young people age 18 and under.
